This earlier portrait session is a separate part of Puran Singh and Darshan Kaur’s golden anniversary story. It begins indoors, then moves outside among trees for photographs of the couple and the people with them. The selection by KB Brar Photography keeps the attention on faces, gestures and time together.

Portraits together, in two looks
In the first outdoor portraits, Puran wears a brown kurta and pink turban while Darshan wears bright pink. Standing and seated photographs give them different ways to be together in the frame. Later portraits introduce a navy suit and a softer pink outfit, keeping the same shaded setting while changing the feel of the photographs.

The people who join the frame
A portrait session also leaves space for other people. Here, the group photographs include conversations, raised hands and a broad smile as two men stand with their arms around one another. Those moments sit naturally beside the formal portraits. They give the session some movement without taking it away from the couple being celebrated.

A portrait session before the party
The last photographs return to Puran and Darshan together, then bring two guests into the frame. If you are planning an anniversary celebration, a separate portrait session can give you time for photographs without the pace of a full party.
